Not sure if it has done this every time or if it's the first time I've noticed it. I just loaded a new map onto my thundermax. Started from the beginning of the instructions. When I got to the IAC Auto things seemed to be going ok. Idle was adjusting, AFR's kept adjusting. But, one thing I noticed was the IAC positing indicator in the monitors was staying at a constant 31, it wasn't moving. Is this normal? My idle was usually between 980-1024rpm. It seemed to be making adjustments from the base map, but nothing seemed too crazy. Any input from you guys?
I was orginally running map #524. It was popping a bit, but not that crazy. Tried map #523 and it popped like crazy. Bike sounded like crap. Went back to #524 and it was better.
Now, fast foward a bit. I had an exhaust leak. Was popping a lot, but it got a lot better after new gaskets and such. So, I tried map #523 again per Randy at Zippers since it fits my setup better (thundermax auto tune, se stage 1 a/c, and hooker troublemakers). So, I load #523 and it pops like crazy. It's actually kind of embarassing to ride it. So, I need to email him my map to see if knows what is going on with it. So far, from my experience, it hasn't been worth the $900. I'm getting pretty frustrated with it. I hope I can get it all sorted out. I'm gonna email him the map tomorrow and see what he thinks. Hopefully it gets sorted out, I'm losing a lot of faith in the whole auto-tune market.
