Yes.Nobody that I have ever talked to has said anything about wind noise.sure it's possible.I've talked bike to bike andbike to vehicle. Hope that helps.I like mine,very nice when on vacation,helps to get around traffic problems.
Thanks...I have one, but have not had the opportunity to use it as yet...Mine is a no helmet state, but the spouse insists on them when we ride, so the helmet speakers have been the modus operandi thus far.
I've used them in the past when I had Ultras. I never had any problems with wind noise and I think as long as you have a windshield taller than the blk wind deflector like mine you will be OK. I can't even hear the radio anymore let alone a CB.
Some people make fun of us older guys calling are Harley's a mid life crisis. During my mid life crisis I put a little black wind deflector on mine (lol). Everyone thinks I'm nuts but it's fun after riding dressers with windshields for 29 years.
I tried that last weekend with an earbud attached to my cellphone and ran to my ear. I could hear my wife but with all the wind all she could here is what must have sounded like Florida during the last Hurricane season.
