I have the same problem with my '03 Ultra. The dealer did the recall for the main breaker 2 times and this still happens. When my bike goes dead, I pull over and turn off the ignition switch and I have to wait for 10 to 90 seconds before the power comes back. No lights, no power, no anything. I don't think it is the main breaker because my radio does not lose it's memory. Thinking ignition switch or ignition relay uner the seat. My dealer says he cant figure it out and blows me off as crazy because he can not duplicate the problem. It is no fun at night to have all the lights and power go away in Chicago traffic.
I also have the same exact idle problems listed in the first post here. I think Harley knows all about this but wont talk.

Not the breaker if the the memory in the radio was not lost...
Last year, after a few trips to the HD dealer service department for interm shut down problem;
They found a shorted wire in the wiring harness under the tank... FYI...
