Default Injector pulse width vs.temperature

I have an '06 Dyna. I am wondering how much, if any, the injector pulse width is effected by ambiant and engine temperature. An old hot rod trick is to fool the ECM into sensing that things are a lot colder than they really are which subsequently could fatten up the mixture and/or alter the ignition curve. This could been done by substituting fixed resistors for the variable ones of the IAT and ET sensors. Perhaps.

It will affect the pulse width dramatically, although somewhat unpredicatbly. You could simply move the IAT sensor out to the filter base plate. But when you do that sort of thing, you're telling the computer that the air is always colder than it is. Sometimes that causes an overly rich mixture; and that's a bad thing.

You could try it ans see how it goes, it's free. If it doesn't run well in all situations, you should get a real tuner.
