I used the calibration #23.
It worked well for me.
SE Slip-on Torque muffler p/n 80061-00
SE air cleaner and breather p/n 29440-99C (kit p/n 29773-02B)
SERT calibration #23, 8 degrees injectors.
So far I've been driving 60 metric miles, and the bike is smoother, stronger and faster.
The most of the "popping" when deaccelerating is gone. Almost no "jerking" as before with little throttle at low speed.
The random ignition misses when taking of from standing still and a small amount of throttle seems also to been gone.
Plugs look fine.
In fact my impression is that its running very well, and I can't (subjectively) think about anything right now that would need attention to improve the calibration.
I'm getting the twin scan 88 +, though, just for the peace of mind. I´m not planning any dyno run.
Theres alot of things that can be done to the closed loop maps. For starters, that huge closed loop section needs to be trimmed back. 14.6:1 at the 20, 80 and 90 map and over 4000 RPM's is pretty bad. Closed loop is good for areas where you might actually cruise for economy. You could increase the closed loop bias table a bit to richen up the remaining areas of the closed loop. In addition, there's plenty of room to increase the acceleration enrichment table to boost performance and get rid of that hollow "I 'aint gettin' enough fuel" sound and feel when you accelerate hard. We see that you can add a few degrees of timing here and there with no ill effects. This gives you cooler running, greater economy and generally better performing bike. No rocket science here....
I used the Twin Scan 88+ wego when I changed my SE II's to Khrome Werks 3" HP slip ons but logged both setups fully. When you are able to correct those VE table values to your individual bike and setup, you can really dial in and lean out the top end for some more torque and horsepower. If you are running SEII's and and open air cleaner assembly, the factory VE tables were within 5 percent or lower when I tested it so HD did their job pretty well.
If you need a base 06 Dyna map that has many of these changes, PM me and I can sent it.
