Just an FYI for those in need. Hdmaps.com has a map available as of today for the 2006 closed loop system in various configs. Earlier tonight, I downloaded the Stage one with SE exhaust map just as the FED-EX man was delivering my SERT. I quickly loaded the software on my laptop and uploaded revised map to my ECU.
I went for a good 45 minute ride and tested it under every condition from light criuse to WOT throttle. Bike's running fantastic. The WOT pull up top is clean and forceful. Exhaust note has a plesant gurgle on deleleration; no more pops. The awkward surge about 20 mph is also history. I'll be riding my rig to work and will cover over 100 miles so I'll update some more.
I did look over their work (cant give away their secrets) but needless to say, I could have never tweeked the canned maps up like this. On another note, for me personally, there not a decent dyno tuner who can work with the SERT in my neck of the woods so if you're in the same boat as me, give 'em a try.
PS. Not sure about the 25 degree maps. Might want to e-mail them
My mods are SE II's, SE A/C with K&N. Just standard HD Stage one.
My dealer will give me the 25s under warranty and will make sure my warranty is uneffected if they do the install & map work. ( I figure that's a fair trade) They said they will be able to get a map if I wait a while and it's much cheaper than dyno tuning the bike so I'll bet they will use that website. Since all Dynas will have the 25 degree injectors after 2/15 it has to be a matter of a short period of time. Plus they will guarantee the bike runs without any problems or they will make it right. So, that's the way I'm going.

I've got the exact same mods as you. I have a SERT on backorder so I'm waiting on that to come in. Do you think that the map you got off of hdmaps.com is better than the map that comes with the SERT for those same mods? I know that the SERT comes with a map for our exact setup and am just wondering if the hdmap.com map is a tweaked version of the SERT map.
I checked out that website and I don't see that map listed on their map page.
Did you just pay the $69 to download that one map?

In the Sert software (in advanced mode) the ECM Tuning Constants Table has an adjustment for injector grams per second flow. 2005 and before should be set at 4.35 gps. In 2006 the Dynas received a smaller flowing injector, which should be set at 3.91 gps. The 27709-06A 25 degree injectors should be set at a value of 4.89 gps.
This adjustment will create a good starting point on the maps depending on which injector you have.
By the way . on your new SERT . Is the disc aversion F or G. Mine is the F. They say that the G version should have some more good maps for 06 dynas. Let me know.
And I checked what you mentioned in your original post. The 25 degree maps are different yet they still have the injector size set to 3.91 gm/sec right off the CD. I'm going with the theroy that the injector size is just another "value" to make the mixture richer through injector pulse width; apparently the HD tuner did not choose to utilize the higher value. No wonder people are going nuts on this.
E-mail matt at hdmaps. Once you are a member to download the actual map, you can see the 06 Dyna maps available for download .For the 88's, they have a SE II, Thunderheader and a V&Hines map's available. For the 95" '06 Dyna, a V&Hines map, and a 120" JIMS version w/ thunderheader. Hope this helps.
