Fuse keeps blowing
My Accessory fuse keeps blowing which takes out my turn sigs, brake lights and speedo. I blew 3 fused in a row just turning on the ignition and had my Dealer come and haul it in. The mechanic calls and tells me he doesn't know what to do. He can't get it to blow the fuse. He is putting it back together and wants me to come and pick it up. Bring it back again when it blows the fuse again. WTF does he think I just brought it in for the fun of it. If he can't find it why doesn't he replace every thing it could be? How the H@ll can I drive to Sturgis thinking the fuse could blow again and I have to maneuver through traffic without brake lights or turn signals? I told him to keep it until he found the problem. I'm really surprised he hasn't told me "This is normal".

I had a similar problem only mine was blowing the instrument fuse. Found "pinched" wires in the left handle grip assembly. You should be able to unplug the wiring harness going to the handle bars and see if that clears the problem.

Had the same problem and after tracing for a couple of hours I found that the harness behind the radio was rubbing "slighty " not even all the way through ... taped it up and haven't had a problem in about a year now
