I just purchased the SEPST, cable kit, installation disc and training DVD. I haven't installed on bike yet. Will probably wait until spring.
I have watched the training DVD. Alot of info to absorb at once. Is this as confusing as it seems. I am more interested in the auto tune feature. I may make a few adjustments in advanced mode once I learn a bit more but we will see. Right now it seems a bit overwhelming. Will I catch on as I get into the actual tuning part.
I am fairly computer savvy and I am mechanically inclined.
How well does the "Training DVD" do towards explaining the SEST?
I have a SEST and the associated software and cables but forgot to get the training DVD. I am now thinking that I should have gotten the DVD. What can you tell me as far as the price of the DVD being worth it?

DVD explains things pretty well. Lots of info to absorb and understand.
I think the $30 is worth it. I think it will be refered to often when doing the tune. Pages can also be printed out.
i have software, and purchased cables (but they are on backorder according to HD dealer). i was thinking about buying traing video, but though i'd play with the software abit -- i am mostly interetsed in the auto tune feature.

Thanks!! I may see about getting the training DVD for myself then. It seems no one around these forums is willing to carry on a thread on tuning with the SEST like they do with the TTS Mastertune.
Sorry, ment smarttune. I have the SEST that I got in July. Does it have the smart tune or is this a new system that came available after I bought mine? Can I get the Smart tune to go with my SEST?
Thanks
Tim
