I did a diags readout on my '05 RoadKing and suspect that's a burned out bulb code - anyone have the codes? It's missing from the '04 info from the DIY topic. TIA

 

B1121 = Left Turn Output Fault

 

Thanks, Tom. I successfully cleared it yesterday. For those who don't know it, the speedometer display also displays fault codes and allows them to be cleared. Neat feature. Saves $$ at the dealer.

Glad to see you're really getting into the do it yourself mode. I think it's cool as you know what. I really admire someone who is willing to learn to work on and keep their bike in good working order. Keep it up.

Thanks, John. It's a scurge - I have always torn anything completely apart to see "how it works" since I was 3 years old. However, I will draw the line at the engine - at least for now . The Road King really lends itself to customer DIYer's - and, I love working on it too. Hope we meet sometime - ever get up to Gettysburg?
