One way around it is if your dealer does it and is willing to stand behind it. Otherwise you might be stuck with the SEST. They still might give you a bit of grief. Once they give you something where the control of the ECM is taken into your hands, and out of their's, it can be a grey area.

If you trust your dealer, and he's willing to do it, you might be OK. Along with the TTS tuning software, it gives you the opportunity to save the original map for the bike so if something goes sideways, you can reload the original back in before you take it in. Not sure if they can track that or not?
You don't have to reload the original map, just change the calibration number on the TTS map to match the one for the original map.

BTW, if it matters, Fuel Moto does a great job with PCVs and also sells the TTS kit at a pretty good discount.

Being a very non mechanical type, I tend to stick with Dealer for a variety of reasons, mostly being, the idea of installing a TTS and doing the tuning scares the crap out of me, I am a PC geek, not a mechanic. My philosophy is pay somebody to do it it right once, not pay somebody to fix my screw up, I make enough money in my line of work becasue of this already! Also since the bike is new, and parts are bought within 60 days of purchase, they are all covered under HD factory warrenty for the next 2 years. Call it peace of mind I guess.

I will say you all have my interests peaked on this topic now, I was all set to just leave my ride stock and add parts for my own look and feel and never thought I would start messing with the engine and performance (yeah, I know, I'm a sucker). I will be bringing this up prior to getting anything installed with the dealer jsut to at least hear their side of the story (As tainited as it may be, everybody deserves a fair shake).

Maybe its time to grow a larger set of ***** and figure out the mechanical side of things.
Thanks again for your input...more to follow when I get this all done.
Dont feel bad dude- i thought i was a pretty mechanical person myself especially since dealing with marine/boating type stuff virtually all my life. My '78 seacraft in my avatar i have totally rebuilt,rewired,advanced/integrated electronics, saltwater and freshwater systems, you name it, i know backwards and forwards- but this HD stuff has been particularlyintimidating for me the last year except for basic stuff, lol. nothing to do with the current thread but just thought id chime in similar experiance/lack of and learning curve.

Change your pipes & air cleaner, then go find an independent dyno at a independent shop. You will find that the o2 readings will be within the numbers you need.If not install a powercommander and save yourself a lot of money & heartache.
