Default Tts q?

I just want to make sure this is right...

I was messing around with the ECM this morning reprogramming it a few times. I did a v-tune last week and saved it under a new file name, however when I opened it up and hit "get ECM info" the file that was loaded on the ECM was the old one (the stock name for the TTS files). So I reprogrammed it again and still the only thing that pops up is the old name. Is this right? if not what the heck am I doing wrong here?

You won't get the full file name, as you saved it on your computer, to reflect on your ECM. It will just keep the base file name from that map series. In summary, you won't see that name change between tune updates unless you change the base map.

Thanks. I got a little worried there. Off to pull the tank to install LED mirrors!

To change the name that shows when you 'get ECM Info' you need to edit it in the calibration before you program. You do this by loading the cal file and selecting Edit - Edit Calibration Part Number. You can then enter any 12 character PN that you want. Save the cal, and then when you program it the new number will show.
