running problems
I took a 99 sportster 1200 put it on a poco rigid frame. Eliminated all the wiring except the basics. Runs good until you put it in gear then it quits. Can anyone help or know why it does this?

Kind of thing I meant was, why would it run till you put in in gear?
Just stops or dies when giving it the gas?
Its like there is something, at the first question, killing it. Oil pressure ?? Something like that.
Voltage problem?
Gotta be something, unless there is magic involved, that'll cause problems for sure. Seen that happen in Louisiana.
