Overcharging
Hey all, I have a 2008 FLHT, 34 days out of warranty. On the way to work this morning the volt meter pegged itself, the speedo and tach lights went out and the check engine light came on. All appears fine as far a running but something is amiss. What do you all think it could be. Voltage regulator is what I am thinking but wanted some other opinions. Thanks for any help.

Start your bike, and check your voltage at the battery with a volt meter. At 2000 rpms it should read around 14 or 14.5 volts DC. If your reading higher then it's your voltage regulator.

I had a Honda Accord out of a 6 year warrenty 7 days.
I cried. I begged.

Finally told them I would buy a Hyundia. they said they would be happy to sell my one.
