I have a 2012 Deluxe, battery fully charged when I ride in less than 10 minutes my battery light comes on at the same time my speedo lights go out, my right from turn signal goes out, about 5 minutes later the speedo lights come back... This process repeats itself. My headlight also goes out randomly during this process.
I was told the year of my bike was known for bad regulators but does this sound like that issue?

Any thoughts?
Yes it sounds like the 2012 Voltage regulator issue. The recall has expired, so you are on your own.
I've had tons of electrical problems with my 12 Heritage. They just put another voltage regulator on last month, even after the recall replacement in 2012. I haven't had a chance to ride the bike much since then, maybe only a couple hundred miles, because it's rained so damn much in the last month but so far I have not had another issue. Mine was also signals, back lights, red warning lights, 6th gear light, etc etc.
Somewhere around there's a post about all my problems with the electrics.
Some 2012 softail voltage regulators are under a recall, depending on your voltage regulator serial number. Yes, it indeed sound like a bad voltage regulator.
A buddy came by put the tester on the battery was at 14 volts, started the bike it went to about 14.25, within a minute or so it spiked to 17.25 volts and the speedo lights went out etc..
Since your voltage is spiking UP to 17v I would say that is most definitely the regulator. My issue is the opposite. Every start my voltage is slow to rise to 14v. CE light stays on until it reaches it but once it gets there it stays. Twice it never rose and stayed at 12v. Trying to decide if it's a VR or battery issue. Anyone ever have this issue before? Not trying to hijack the thread but apologize if it appears that way.
