IMO I paid them for the time to do the tuning so anything generated while on my dime belongs to me. I would allow them to keep a backup copy for themselves but I own that map. Kind of like having someone build a garage for you and them saying the garage isn't yours! I am still waiting for a copy of my map. Maybe Shovelhead Bob can answer this one. The dealership gave me a floppy with the map on it and my Race Tuner software couldn't open it. (Error message about a problem during inflation) Their IT guy said that they always have the latest version of the Race tuner software and unless I have the same version they built the MAP with I couldn't open it. Friday the IT guy will be back and they are giving a copy of the version mine was built with. Don't know if any of this is true.

As it turns out they did not do the tuning correctly so there was no custom map! Whats worse is that they charged my like they did it correctly. I took the bike back and they removed the PC and AC and refunded all my money. I am ordering the PC today with the stock map to start with.

Yea ACP is on the money. They where at Ocean City HD during Delmarva. I had my bike done by them down there and it came out great. I watched the entire process, and for being at a show it came out ok. They tuned 1 cyclinder and matched the other. They had a before and after and the air/fuel ratio as well. They used tuning link software which pretty much dials it in for the tuner.

I called them when 20FXST06 gave me their info. He is on the road with his dyno and will not be back til the end of October. I will try to catch him then. The tuning link software looks pretty cool.

I used ACP to dyno my bike and it turned out great. This was after I had a well known shop dyno it and they had the AFR around 12. The guy at ACP let me watch the whole tuning process and explained what he was doing as he went along. He's a certified PC tuner.
