I have a 2007 Softail Custom ordered(due in 2 weeks, can't wait!) and I suspect that it will run a little on the lean side from what I have read on this forum. The only mods I am planning are SE A/C and SE slip-ons later on. But I am thinking the engine might benefit with this unit. I know I could use a SERT or PCIII, but I would like some comments on this. And should I wait until 1000 miles before I make any changes to the bike or would it be better for the engine if I at least got the fuel adjusted a little richer from the beginning?
Any ideas?
A little more info.
This is marketed as RevTech DFO or Techlusion TFI

You can use them right from the beginning because these bikes come from the factory lean. If you do the intake and exhaust later on, you can just readjust the unit then.
