Left Blinker
Was riding tonight......hit the left blinker and after
about 5 blinks its starts blinking at twice the rate.
Checked bulbs, ok......whats up? Right one not
doing it either.

Are BOTH bulbs on the L flashing rapidly???? and in time with the indicator....
Just guessing here but prolly not.....
One of the bulbs could not be seated in the socket correctly, or the socket tail is out of line with the socket.....
If they are both flashing the same speed and brightness, you could have an open in the T/S wiring for the L side....

It is grumbling because there is not enough resistance to work the flasher unit.
Check both bulbs are working, check the wattage of each and make sure one or both are not LED bulbs (you need a load equalizer if both are LED) otherwise you may have a dud flasher unit.
