08 SG ignition question
Tore down my 08 SG for paint. When I removed the inner fairing I wound up moving the ignition off lock with the shaft not fully engaged. Got the alignment tool and re-aligned the switch so that it would go on fork lock. After putting everything back on, when I put in the Maxi fuse I get power to the gauges and cruise control. When I turn the switch to ignition the lights work and it starts and runs just fine. Why is it getting power to the gauges and radio when in the lock position? Have I got the ignition lined up wrong?
I have tried rotating the switch with the tool not fully engaged as the book suggest but no help. Any suggestions?
