Default Powervision lower sampling rate

I've recently installed a new exhaust and air cleaner on my 2007 883L Sportster and have started using the Powervision to tune it. I've been using the manual method along with the MegaLogViewer HD program to look at the scatter plots of the logs. My logging runs are usually between 30-45 minutes and when I started the process a couple of weeks ago, everything appeared to be going smoothly. Recently, however, I've noticed that the log files don't contain as much data as the original ones. As an example, last week's logs were typically in the 5MB range, while a logging run I did yesterday was only 1MB in size. Looking inside the log files (used windows notepad to open), I noticed that the sampling rate is much lower in the recent logs vs the older ones. Here is an example:

Original logs (5MB in size) contents:
"Time","MAP","Set AFR","VE New Front","Acel Enr","Warm-up AFR","VE New Rear","ET","TP","RPM","VE Front","VE Rear ",
"ms","kpa","ratio","%","ms","ratio","%","°F","%"," rpm","%","%",

35,46.46,14.0,57.5,0.00,0.7,64.0,219,0,1066,63.0,7 1.5
51,46.46,14.0,57.5,0.00,0.7,64.0,219,0,1066,63.0,7 1.5

151,47.94,14.0,57.5,0.00,0.7,64.0,219,0,1053,63.0, 71.5

Recent logs (1MB in size) contents:
"Time","ET","TP","RPM","MAP","Warm-up AFR","Acel Enr","Decl Enl","VE Front","VE Rear ","VE New Front","VE New Rear","Set AFR",
"ms","°F","%","rpm","kpa","ratio","ms","ms","%","% ","%","%","ratio",
79,288,0,1089,42.03,0.0,0.00,0.00,59.5,62.5,57.0,6 2.0,14.6
391,286,0,1063,43.88,0.0,0.00,0.00,59.5,62.5,57.5, 62.5,14.6
524,286,0,1039,43.88,0.0,0.00,0.00,59.0,62.5,57.0, 62.5,14.6

802,286,0,1083,43.88,0.0,0.00,0.00,59.5,62.5,57.0, 62.5,14.6
934,286,0,999,45.72,0.0,0.00,0.00,59.0,62.5,56.0,6 2.5,14.6

My interpretation of this data is that the first number in each line is the timestamp in milliseconds as to when the sample was taken. If you compare the 2, the sampling rate for the second is much lower. The result of this lower sampling rate is that I'm not getting as many hits and therefore a 30 minutes ride is no longer enough to get a good scatter plot to see what's going with the air flow. Any idea why this would be happening or suggestions as to try and isolate the problem? The only thing that I changed that could potentially have cause this problem is that I upgraded to the latest firmware. Maybe there is some option in the new firmware that needs to be changed?

Default Power Vision Codes P0134,154

I am new to this forum so I hope I am posting properly. I have a 2007 Ultra Classic. I have been using Power Vision with Autotune for about 2 weeks. This is a fantastic product. Then tuning process is going well. I have a few cells that maxed out at 127.5, simple fix. The concern that I have is that codes P0134 and 154 continue to set at each run cycle. I have been in contact with FuelMoto and Dynojet to try to get a solution. customer service has been great with both companies. They have sent several "tunes" to try, but to no avail. Closed loop and Adaptive learning set to "0", AFRs all below 14.6. Software and firmware all current. Autotuning, log tuning, no tuning, anyway you run the bike the codes still set. IMHO the ECM is still looking at the factory O2 sensors. I dont see in the instructions a need to terminate the factory O2 sensor harnesses. But, hey, what do I know.

If anyone has run across this problem. HELP. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill

@Sir Fig:
"I dont see in the instructions a need to terminate the factory O2 sensor harnesses. But, hey, what do I know."

I asked this very question to Fuel Moto when I bought my PV and was told there is no need to use O2 terminators.

Did your bike throw any O2 codes? Our tune strategy is probably different. Yours appears to be a 2008 mine is 2007. Did you have to install the terminators?

Thanks,
Bill

Ran it with and without the terminators (had them from the PCV). No codes either way. I've also run Autotune with sideband O2 sensors (Autotune kit) and with the stock O2 sensors. No trouble codes! Yes, tune strategies may be different as you pointed out I have an '08 TBW bike and yours is an '07. You may want to give Fuel Moto a call just for their professional advise and peace of mind :-)

I have been talking to, I will use his first initial "J" at FuelMoto. He has been fantastic. Their customer service is first class. After trying several tunes, to no avail, I am now communicating with "P" at DynoJet. He has been great also. About an hour ago, I sent him my original stock tune with the info files from the ECM, diagnostic, etc. I am sure that he will figure it out.

Just looking around at the different forums, there seems to be different "Strategy" numbers for 07 touring bikes. Even different strategies for Ultra Classics, which I have.

I ran DTT 2d for about 4 years and for my use, Power Vision is superior, vastly superior to DTT. Dont misunderstand me. The DTT would be great for a racing bike. Temp, barometer, track conditions open up the can and pick a tune. I guess AlphaN would be better for that. When wifey and I decide to take a 2 day trip, say, we leave the Atlanta area and head to Myrtle Beach and then head up to Highlands NC. and then on to "The Dragon", well. Alphan dont cut it. The temp and altitude changes and AlphaN just dont jive.

Again, "J" and "P" both are working their tails off to remedy this P0134 thing. I cant say enough about the great customer service from FuelMoto and Dynojet.

I dont understand why people bash companies like FuelMoto and Dynojet when both seem to be doing all they can to help the customer. Maybe I am just getting old, well I am old. I even remember the word "responsibility" was still in the dictionary. LOL---- NOT!!!

Thanks,
Bill

Its been to weeks since I got my power vision from fuel motto. Good customer service will definately be doing business over the winter. I am getting a gas smell when riding alot, also sometimes when sitting at the light it will stall when taking off and my gas milage has dropped considerably. The power delivery is good through the rpm range I have an 06 ultra with fm ac and stock pipes with the baffles removed. Any ideas why when i loaded the tune should I have reset the trims on the pv controller? Trying to fix the issue if I can before bugging fm when it might be something simple. Thanks in advance for any help given.

It's my understanding anytime you update the map you should reset learned trim values.

Normally just anytime you change any fuel related items.
