Just recently had my powercommander replaced under warranty. Device threw a device code 39 error and the serial number would show with strange character and incorrect numbers, would not take a map and when looking at the rpm range on the unit it went up to 20,000. Dynoject said the firmware went south.
Now the second unit has done the same, does anyone know what may be causing this to happen. Debating on reguesting a refund and going with sert. Beginning to think powercommander has a defect in the software or vram system. I am wondering if there is a limit to how many times you can send a map to the pcIIIusb before it fails like this.
Tried the reset did not work and when I try to send a map it give error incompatible error. Any help or thoughts greatly appreciated.
