SERT experts-need help!!
1. Yes, the connector is in the electrical caddy.
2. Don't forget to turn on the run switch in addition to the key switch. This stumped me for a nervous 5 minutes or so the first time I tried to use it.
3. To the best of my knowledge, you CANNOT retrieve the map stored on the bike. I believe you can obtain a code to help determine the version you are running. This is only helpful for identifying which map and so it is only useful if you already have the map. I can't remember what they call this code (possibly "version") and my SERT isn't installed on this computer so I can't check right now. When creating your own maps, you would set this code so you'll be able to keep track of which custom map you are using.
The SERT software comes with the stage 1 downloads and some other combos, but I don't think it comes with the stock maps. If I'm wrong, someone will step in pretty quick and help out.
