throttle cable 95 dyna
Sounds like the idle cable needs re adjusting.
I imagine you've already adjusted the throttle cable so you might want to check that the idle cable isn't hanging up some where. If all it needs is adjustment, here you go. Lossen the jam nut on the idle cable adjuster and turn the adjuster counter clockwise until the cable housing just contacts the spring on the end. Work the throtle while turning the adjuster clockwise until the throttle grip returns to idle by itself. That should do it.
If you've aready done this to no avail, maybe the cable is hung up in the grip itself. This has happened to me in the past. A buddy of mine had the same thing happen with the grip not returning to idle. The problem he had was the the little shoe that is part of the throttle lock had become dislodged and worked itself between the cable and the housing therby locking the throttle. Just a few things to check out.
