Installed pc-v on my 2010 flhx back on February using maps from Dynojet and Fuelmoto. With either maps my fuel mileage has suffered big, my fuel mileage with pc is at 30-32 mpg.Thats highway and city driving and throttle response is also poor, have also noticed that front plug is dark and sooty compared to rear which is clean and slightly dark around the insulator. If I go back to stock everything is back to normal,40-42 mpg, equally clean plugs, and better throttle response.Any help would be appreciated,I hope its not a faulty PC. Ordered PC-V from Fuelmoto.

Start with the Fuel Moto map and load it in the PC software. Go to the Fuel Tables (front and rear cylinders) and highlight/select 2000-3000 RPM @ 10-20% TP, which should show on your computer as a dark gray background with yellow numerals in the selected area. Hit the pg-down key five times, each hit causing all selected values to be reduced by 1. Thus, all will be reduced by 5. Do this in the Fuel Tables for both the front and rear cylinder. Try that, and if that doesn't get you where you want, do it again subtracting 2 more--but don't go more than -10 in total.
This will reduce fuel 5% in that range, which is where you likely spend most of your time. It won't help if you are into the throttle a lot, and should increase mileage while you are cruising at highway speeds.
I've received two economy maps from FM as per Keith. 1st one reduced by 4 in that cruising range,2nd reduced an additional 4.
That's as far as you should go, and if mileage is still bad I don't know what you can do to improve it other than go back to stock. The stock tuning is lean mostly to meet emissions standards, and that affects performance and increases heat, both of which a tuner is supposed to improve. I presume you are getting better performance and you're happy with the new setup outside the mileage decrease.
Make sure your PCV isn't configured to enable the accelerator-pump feature, as that will affect mileage adversely.
iclick I am not happy with going back to stock, that is why I ordered the PC-V from fuelmoto. But I am not happy with the poor mileage and throttle response.Thats why I emailed Jamie last week(5-24-11),and I have not received an answer.Could be that he is probably swamped with other customers,I'll just have to wait and see if I can get answer by the end of the week.

can't understand why your having so much trouble getting in touch with jamie.
when i had a pc-v on my bike i had a problem with it and he contacted me while he was on vacation or away from the shop .if he knows your trying to contact him he will get back.
they do have very good customer service.try the phone number they provide and tell them the problem your having.
Received an email from Jamie yesterday,he said it could be a firmware or software issue and i should update it w/ new version from Powercommander website. Will try this weekend and see if this improves the performance. Thanks to Jamie for answering my email.
