Having some sputtering and rough running issues with my 08 Road King Classic. I have stage 1 cleaner, Rinehart true duals and recently added a PCV from Fuel Moto (thanks Jamie).
I used to have a FuelPak and issues with the bike dying. Dealer said they called V&H and adjusted some of numbers on the map and everything was ok. Rode it for a while and was still running rough but not dying. I decided to swithc to the PCV from fuel moto. Bike runs better but still some sputtering.
I have not contacted Jamie at fuel moto yet simply because from everything I have read their maps are usually spot on. I will check to see if I'm still getting trouble codes (yes I erased the old ones so any codes will be new).
It seems like I am still having some air/fuel delivery issues. Looking for advice on what else to check before I start playing with maps.
The dealer said that my 08.5 had the new fuel shell installed prior to leaving the factory. Funny thing is it always seems to run roughest when tank is low (1.5 gal) or less. Thanks for the input, I may try a different dealer and see what they say.
