I found a shop in my area that will make a custom map for my '06 eg classic ( 95" stage2,andrews 26g cams) for $350.00-start to finish. He states he pulls the right side muffler and snakes probes into the engine and maps each cyl at a time. Is this for real or is he giving me a line? He says he uses a dynojet dyno. Any comments welcomed.
I could see maybe having probes or sensors in the exhaust pipe itself, but it seems to me that having a probe inside your engine would affect performance.
