Default how to program new keyfob?

I went to pick up my spare set of keys and keyfob from Republic Harley were I bought my bike from today. My salesman gave me 2 keys in a baggy, and when I asked for my keyfob he just pulled it off a new bikes set of keys out of his drawer. He had originally told me that they needed the bike to program the keyfob, but when I asked today he said I could find it on the internet……Well I've found out how to program the keyfobs with buttons but not the type thats button less. Any body have any words of wisdom here??

What does it say in your owners manual?! You should have been given one. There is no cheat!

It says that replacement fobs can only be assigned by a qualified harley technician, my bike was an 08 so I didnt get squat, I had to buy a manual after the fact. Hell I only got 1 key and a fob, I had to pull teeth to get me a spare set of keys and a useless fob. I guess the 10k cash I put down wasn't enough to get some better treatment on the purchase of my first HD...

Sounds like your dealer has been a real tight-wad. Unfortunately they do have to sort out your new fob for you.
