Guys, I have not used the Data Mode yet. I would like to see the map that the tuner at my dealer has uploaded to my ECM. If I connect my laptop to the bike and start the bike will it show the existing settings?
I does not appear to be possible. This may be by design to protect the tuner's time and knowledge. The best thing would be to get it from him. He should have it in case the bike came back for more tuning. He may not want to give it up for good reason. It protects future business and eliminates the possiblity of someone else messing up his tune.
When you connect the lap top it will let you know the File name. If it matchs one of the canned maps you know what he started with. Then start logging data if the A/R and VE numbers match what is in the table it may be just a canned map if they are different then you know he fine tuned it.

Nope can't read whats there.
If you paid for the tune you should have gotten the map. Ask them for a copy on cd.
If it was a stock map it will be on the cd that came with the sert.
