06 1200c - have the Manuel and from what I see it looks like it is the white wire coming from the switch - haven't taken it back apart since last year when i did the bar install - planning on building a garage door remote instead of buying the Harley modual - have access to free remotes and have the time as snow is starting to fly - figured instead of trying to pull another wire through the bars, I would catch the wire under the tank.
I don't remember for sure which wire is which, but do you have a test light? If so, you can easily check which one comes on when you hit the hi-beam switch...

Yeaup - I was thinkin that as well - but I was going to tie in under the tank as the remote will hide under the seat - lots of playing around when the snow parks your butt - someone needs to come up with studded tires to fit the bike - all I can find are ice tires for racing
