Hey everybody. I recently stripped my bike down to just a rolling frame in order to rebuild the engine. Worked my way through it and so far the rebuild consists of everything except
- Exhaust pipe
- Clutch Cable
- Rear lights
- Gas tank
I just put the battery back on, and upon turing the key I get no power. No lights, starter doesnt work, no blinkers, and no dash lights. The battery is putting out 12 volts, and I even tried with the battery hooked up to a charger. I checked the ground and positive connections and everything seems to be in order.
I am officially out of ideas. I check each of the connections and they looks like they're wired correctly. No bare wires. I did have to cut the cam position sensor and splice it, but I wouldn't think a bad sensor connection would cause the dash and lights not to work.
Can anyone with more electrical experience help me out? I'm more adept with mechanical aspects then electrical so i am up for any suggestions.
