Check Engine Light
I've tried a search for this but couldn't find a good answer.
'08 FLHRC... I noticed yesterday when I turn the ignition switch to the run position the yellow light doesn't illuminate for a few seconds anymore like it used to. I do hear the fuel pump cycle. Other lights (ABS & Security) do work as usual.
I checked for codes this morning and there was nothing stored.

have you tried it both on the jiffy stand and in the upright position?
have you done anything to the bike lately?
when it is not operational, have you tried flipping the run/stop switch back and forth a few times? could be a bad switch or a loose wire

OK, I just went out to check if the jiffy stand position would make a difference and now everything is functioning normally with the check engine light. I didn't check it right after I did the code check this morning and I'm wondering if that did something to reset it to normal...
This kind of thing drives me nuts, I had this issue all day yesterday and again this morning. I did research on it. Now the problem just disappears... Not complaining because it could be the opposite- but you know what I mean.
