Just bought an 07 Electraglide standard yesterday, tonight I disconected the battery to install a battery tender pigtail, hooked it back up now the clock does not show on the odo display. What's the trick to get the clock back?
I read through the owners manual it tells how to set the clock and thats about it. The clock doesn't show on the display anymore. Well you can'tsetit if it ain't there.
I don't have a radio, I have an empty hole where there should be a radio.....
Just trying to save a trip if it was something simple like push, pull, twist, on, off... BINGO! there it is.
Maybe I'll take that guys advise, and sell it and buy a Honda...
P.S. I didn't know Harley's are not house broken from the factory, it also pissed gasoline on the floor when I parked it in the garage. Maybe it's just marking it's territory?
Mystery solved. It was a fairly nice day so I fired up the bike to go put some breakin miles on, and guess what, the clock poped on blinkin 12:00.
So aparently if you have an 07 Electraglide standard without a radio and you disconnect the battery for some reason, the clock will not show in the odo display until you physicaly start the engine[sm=headbang.gif][sm=headbang.gif]then you can follow theproceedure outlined in the owners manual for setting the time.
THANK YOU to everyone. Ican see the H-D brotherhood is full of good folks.
