I have a 1998 CMC Wide Rider. S&S super sport. I cannot find a wiring diagram, manual ect.. on this bike.
The battery charged, turn the key. Nothing, no lights no relay "click" when start button pressed. Ive checked all the circuit breakers. the "start Run" and the "start" switches are good. I dont want to start throwing parts at it. If someone has or knows where I can find a wiring diagram that would be great. or if by chance knows exactly whats wrong with the bike and lets me know. that's Great to. but still would like to find a manual and diagrams.

It sounds like bad ground on bat or frame..Maybe switch is bad. Have you put a meter on it? If not i would at the switch and then go from there!!

Ignition switch provides starter relay battery thru the start switch and engine run switch. A 12 volt test light or a volt meter is needed.

Thanks for the replys.

I have taken the battery ground to the frame off, cleaned all contact areas and re installed. and I traced back the Run and the start switch to the relay, tested with a meter, tested good. also tested the relay and the ignition switch. all test good.
Ill go back and test the grounds again. because I would think I would get something, A light, anything.
Someone mentioned the Voltage Regulator. even if that was bad, I would think I would get some dash lights. maybe not.
