Default Current drain

Last year I installed a Gorilla alarm system. I've had a suspicion that it has quite a large parasitic drain on the battery since. I bought a new DMM the other day and tested the load. The alarm is putting a 9.4mA drain on the battery. That is about 3x more than I expected. That is quite high, isn't it?
New battery this year. When charged after a ride it will read 12.76v and within 2-3 days it will read 12.1v. I don't know enough about this subject so I thought I'd ask and hope someone who does could help. Thanks.

Called the company and spoke with the Tech. Average parasitic drain is 8mA+ and 10mA+ armed. So I'm in the ball-park. I'll keep Tender Jr. connected.

I guess the good news is that when the alarm fails due to low battery, the bike wont be able to be driven off!

Sounds life you might have a defective battery as long as charging system is healthy. 9.4ma is very slight and should take weeks to drain a good battery.

Miss this part?

Not exactly drained-dead. No worries.
