ECM Hacking
I have a tuner, but accessing the ECM directly opens many more options. Calibrate speedo, fuel gauge, spark tables, security codes, voltage and much more.
The only thing that came up via search was how to make a Mac emulate windows to connect with the SE tuner.
My mustang had multiple tunes based on a number of variables, air temp, track temp, Econ tune for longer trips....all which I could change on my laptop plugged into the obd port. A restore of the original avoids the warranty issues. Very similar to hacking a PC bios to unlock all the options.
Can someone point me in the right direction? I can blaze the trail if needed but would prefer not to waste my time if it already exists.
Thanks

SERT, TTS, Power Vision. All three will get you into the ECM. You just have to pay for the rights to the software.
Also, most of the tuners make you turn off the engine to remap, this helps them avoid issues and keeps instructions easy but not all value changes require a restart....many cars have a sport mode switch why not make one for our bikes....
I know there are members that have written apps so I bet someone has been down this road before. Anyone able to capture (read/write) all data streams, FI, CANbus, DTII, etc?
