I just installed front turn signal assemblies on the rear of my '05 Ultra to have additional rear running lights.
Stock rear assemblies have a single filament bulb. Stock fronts have dual filament bulbs.
I now have 2 wires that need to be tiedinto the tail light wiringcircuit somewhere.
1. Should I tie into the tail light wiring harness where it plugs in? (before the printed circuit)
or
2. Should I tie intothe tail light/tag lightassembly wire? (after the printed circuir)
or
3. Should I tie into the rear fender tip wire? (after the printed circuit)
Will it cause the solder joints to overheat if I tie in after the printed circuit?
Will I need a higher amp fuse?
Just being cautious.
Not sure why you put frt. lamps on rear you should have just put in the HD MOD. that converts to rears into running lamps cost around $40.00. any way look for the blue wire in the that plug into the board this is you running lamp. Tap at the harness before the board less chance of damage good luck.
