Default HID passing lamp problem

I have a 2007 Ultra Classic that has Xeonlink HID headlight/passing lamp conversion kit. The issue I have is one of the passing lights burns too hot and is melting the lamp housing.
Does anyone know what type lamp burns cooler, I know they are all hot but one of them is the white color and the one that is melting is more blue.
Help?? I'm thinking of just switching everything to LED if I can't find a bulb that doesn't melt the housing.
Thanks, Jeff

Likely that the OEM bulbs would not melt the housing, but anything is possible.
