My bike runs great with the Tmax autotune but mileage is low, around 34. The Target AFR is 13. What is a good overall target for power and mileage? Would raising the target to about 13.8 overall work or is it better to adjust the crusing ranges only. TIA
Sounds to me like you will have to experiment some of what works the best where..
34 doesn't sound too bad over-all though... for a bump..
I had it up to 39-40 with the PCV after tweaking the cruise range. It started out at 30. I'm sure I will do the same with the Tmax but the learning curve is a bit more complicated.
Yeah, I didn't want to go there and decided to stay with my PC-V too.
I had sort of shitty mpg myself(33-35).
Used some chevron techron here a few tankfuls back and the other day got 40 mpg.
Don't know what's up with that, but hope that it stays that way.
I can deal with 40 mpg w/a mild stage 2.

I have Woods 555's & Woods lifters. It really does run better with the Tmax after writing the autotune adjustments to the map a few times.
I said "Screw it" and had it dyno-ed.
I had an AT on it with the PC-V and got real tired of being on phone with dyno-jet and Fuel Moto all the time. "Try this go for a ride and try that. ""Accept the trims" and ride some more and go thorugh it all again.
It got real old.
Needless to say, the AT is history and I am happy with the way the bike is running now.

I hear you. I'm very close to where I want it. If I can pick up 5 mpg with AFR adjustments I would be very happy.
34 ave is all I have seen for mileage w/ my T-Max. I had the bike dyno'ed out of curiosity and it was interesting to see the AFRs for each cylinder. The T-Max showed little ability to control AFRs as they were all over the place. Also, take a look at how sooty your exhaust pipes are. I am dumping the T-Max for a bunch of reasons and looking forward to seeing how well TTS performs.
My understanding is that TTS was re-tweaking their unit?
That be the case, the verdict will be out on TTS for a while until they get the tweeks worked out of their tweeking..
I think that the PV is close to having the tweeks worked out of it,as it is a little over a year old now, even though there is a new update for the firm-ware. Many on this site are having a lot of success with it.
I'm still using what I got and it is working, even though it is antiquated, as is HD for that matter. lolol..
