all of a sudden- nothing
cruising along and all of a sudden it's like you just turned off the ignition then moments later all power comes back on and pop starts and all is well for a couple miles then does it again. did it 5 times in 10 miles then didn't do it again so far in 30 miles. checked ground wire from batt to starter and seems tight. ignition seems ok.

If your bike is a bagger around 2003, it could be the main circuit breaker. HD had a problem with that set up. I had same problem. Replaced with 50 amp fuse and no more problems. Bike even runs better. Also check ignition switch.
