7500 mile and a Nudder Regulator ?

I have my bike in for its 7500 mile service. I mentioned that I occasionally get a check engine and battery light together but intermittently. They are telling me that I need a Voltage Regulator. I dont think thats what it is. This would be the 5th they installed.

The add on electrical items I have added are shown below.

Engine Guard-Mounted Fog Lamp Kit

68913-98B

Auxiliary Brake Light/Turn Signal Conversion Kit
68286-04

Can anyone tell me whether or not this is too much for the electrical system to handle ?

You aren't running a chrome regulator cover are you? If so, leave it off with the next one.

Nope. No chrome cover.

Check the grounds. If all are Good. Test stator output voltage. (check service manual on how to do this properly) Have your dealer check to see if you have any historic codes stored, that could save you alot of time and waste money. Good luck
