I have a Kuryakyn led laydown tail light and the 'running light' function stopped working. The brake light function still works. I disconnected the light thinking that the plug-in part just vibrated loose. Turns out the wire that's connected to the circuit board vibrated loose from the rubbery "glue" that connects it to the circuit board.
I bought the light from Ebay so I can't send it back to Kuryakyn for repair. Is it possible to remove the "glue" and reconnect it? If so, how without damaging the board? And what would I use to reattach it? My electrical knowledge is on par with replacing batteries in the tv remote. [&:]
It looks like the soldiered connections at the ends of the wires broke off... If you know which wires went where, you may be able to re-soldier them. If you're not comfortable doing the soldiering yourself, maybe you can find an electronic supply place nearby that could either do it or recommend someone...
