Default Brake light troubleshooting

I have an '01 Ultra. It has been on a battery charger all winter and wanted to take her out for her maiden voyage today. I discovered no brake light. I checked the bulb - burned out - so purchased replacement from the HD dealership. Still no light. Checked the fuse (it is a 15Amp). Fuse looks fine. All other lighting works fine.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

Thanks,

Does the tail light work, and just not the brake light? Have you checked your brake switches? If you take the bulb back out, you can use a test light tocheck if it's a problem with the bulb or switch...

I haven't checked the switches - will do that this afternoon. Fuse is fine and I have a new bulb. The tour pack lights and light bar all light up - just nothing (not running or brake) on the tail light.

Thanks!

The HD module that turns your turn signals into brake lights can burn out. If this item burns out...then you have no brake lights at all. If you have one of these installed...disconnect it.
