Hard Starting Issue
My wife's bike Fuel Injected 03 Heritage Softail is having a problem starting. If the bike sits for a day and I try to crank it, it cycles several times before finally starting. When it finally does start it runs fine and it fires right up with no problem. I let it sit for 6 hours yesterday and it fired up no problem. Waited 24 hours and the same problem experienced yesterday with it cycling through started again.
Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like the fuel lines check value isn't working. Friend had the same problem. Does the fuel pumpstart and shutoffafter it builds pressure andbefore you start it? His had a leak in theclear fuel likne inside the tank that connects at the bottom. He changed the hose and the check valveinside the tank and the problem diasappeared.

I think you might be onto something. It still has warranty on it, so I made an appt with the dealership to inspect. The fuel pump noise sounds strange when it it powers up so I think there is something going on there.
