I have an '07 Heritage with SE air cleaner, V&H BSS, and SERT with map Map 67 (159AE003). I get a lot of popping on deceleration and even occasionally when upshifting. The warmer the weather gets themore it seems to pop.
You will need to have it dialed in professionally....
The V&H mufflers are normally equipped with "Cheeses Grater" Baffles.....
Nothing more than a tube of steel with louvers..... No backpressure....
Plus you no longer have that small crossover between the two head-pipes.....
That map is merely a starting point... It was designed for HD/SE components, but is adaptable to others with proper equipment to tune in the VE, spark, etc...

Thanks for the quick answer Bob, I was afraid of that. I did install the "quiet baffles" which are a bit more restrictive than the stock ones and are glass wrapped. The pipes do have that "Power Chamber" crossover, for wahtever that's worth. I guess I'll have to pony up the money to get it dialed in.
Make sure that they are lined up straight where they go into to the head. sometimes that gasket doesn't seat right. It doesn't take much for a small leak.
I used the Screamin' Eagle gaskets, as recommended by the dealer. They look much thinner than the stock ones. I'll pull the pipes down and see if they look ok and retorque them.
