Speedometer cable question
Hi guys,
Excuse me for a silly question
I have a 2002 FLSTFI
recently bought a KM/H speedo to replace my MPH speedo that came with the bike. Apparently the one I got only fits 2004 - later models. It has a small 12 pin connector on the bottom. The one on my bike has a big 12 pin connector.
Question: Can I solve this problem by just replacing a cable with a newer one ? Anybody tried that ?

About the only thing I can recommend is to see if you can find someone that has the wiring diagram for the speedo and compare it to how yours is wired. If you can get the wire end for the new speedo, you could probibly hook it up. I don't have my manual with me but will try to post a pic of the speedo wiring tomorrow, if someone doesn't beat me to it.
