I did also pull the MAP from the VCI, change one of the AFR cells, the flash button then disabled. I saved the MAP, the changes saved this time. I then flashed the map and was able to confirm the changes had been loaded to the bike because once I pulled the map again from the VCI, the change in the AFR was still there.
Something else to note which is weird, I can manually change one of the VE table cells to 88.3 per the smart tune generations, save the map and the cell will go back to 88.0. It will however seem to save the changes to the VE table if I manually change the cell in .5 increments.
Maybe the VE tables can only move in .5 increments and all of my smart tune generations are so close to what is in the original map they get rounded to the same number from the map? I changed the VE cell to 88.8 and saved it and the cell went back to 90 after it was saved.
sounds like problem solved. If the problem persists then uninstall SE software, restart comp and re install from download. may be a part of software that did not install right.
I think I'm just a retard. I thought the cells would remain turquoise after saving the updated map but that is not that case. Also I kept looking at one particular cell to see if that changes saved. Since the cell from the stock map was 88 and the smart tune generated data changed that map to 88.3. Once the map was saved it rounds all of the cells to .5 increments thus changing it back to 88 and me believing it did not change.
I focused on a different cell this time when saving the map which was smart tuned 89.3 and stock was 80. I saved the map and sure enough the cell went to 89.
