tc-88 timing question
I have an 2000 FLHTCUI that I just installed the SE Cam Support plate in with new stock cams and bearings. I have aligned all the marks on the cams per the instructions then on the Primary Cam Sprocket and the Crank Sprocket. I put it all together and fire it up and it is not running correctly at all. I can see fire though the intake and it is popping and I am getting air pushing out of the intake. I pull it apart and verify that all marks line up and they do. So what else am I missing here?
No one answered here but I did figure it out. It was the push rods for the front jug! I was getting tired the night before and though I tried to make sure I had the correct I managed to switch the intake and exhaust rods and there you have it. Switched to the way it should be and put it all back together and it purrs like a kitten now
