My wife, Brenda, of almost 15 years (who passed away in March), was the most incredible woman I have ever met, and gave me the best 15 years of my life. She fully supported me in whatever endeavor I chose to do. We wanted to take up fishing, she bought a boat. I wanted to take up flying after 30 years of waiting....she made sure I got my license. We wanted to take up riding again after several years away from it, she started looking for a bike, and rode with all her heart. She went through the tortures of hell the last year dealing with her illness. In spite of the never-ending pain, the endless treatments and medications, the continuous poking, prodding and cutting by the hospitals, and in the face of insurmountable odds from the get-go, she never stopped smiling, she never complained, and she never wanted to put anybody else out, all the way to the very end. She always had a smile, and she never knew a stranger or had an enemy. She was ALWAYS there for me....and she always listened with an open heart and mind, and she never judged. She taught me the true meaning of love, heart and courage, and she will always be my hero. I miss her greatly....
Cherish what you have, and never take him/her for granted, for they may not be there tomorrow. Love em and hold em like it's the last time you might see them....for it may be. And, always let them know how much you love them and appreciate them, never assume they already know. I wish I could tell her that just one more time.....
