Locktite
I did a search and couldn't come up with anything to fit my situation.
So my question is...
Is it "recomended" to use locktite on engine fasteners? ie: rocker box and/or head bolts.

i sure wouldnt do it.most of my mech.exp. is from cars.i have never heard of a head bolt coming lose buti have heard of them snapping when taking off a head.its never happened to me...well exhaust but not head.seems like you would be setting yourself up for a future problem.not only that but next time you torque it down you might get a false reading.
When I rebuilt my '75 Iron Head 3 years ago I used the Loctite 242 on every fastener I took off ( I stripped the bike down to the engine and frame). All the old timers I talked to always told me to carry a 3" cresent wrench and at the end of every ride go over every bolt I could get to. I carried the wrench in my pocket for the first couple of months after my build but I never found a single loose bolt or nut, I don't carry it in my pocket any more. The stuff works great and when it is time to work on what ever, you can get it off with out any trouble.
Go git a manual on yer bike , it will show you where to use the blue or red locktight and what to torque everything to. You will need a inch pound wrench and a foot pound wrench to torque everything to specifications so they are tight and not stripped or broken off or loose.

This is true ( so obvious that it's easy to forget) if bolt needs to tighten to specific torque don't use glue, ONLY when it's instructed (use glue) do so.
