It sounds like this:
The bike sat for a long time without running.
The lower end loaded up with oil.
This oil leaked into the primary and transmission through the transfer valve.
The oil blows out the trans vent tube because the oil level is too high.

I checked the fluid level in the trans and it was at least a quart over full. I drained as you "IronMick" stated, and took her for a couple mile ride. Not long enough I'm sure, the oil blowing from the trans vent tube has almost completely stoped. I would have rode her longer but the tags are expired and state troopers are not friendly, especially when you don't have a motorcycle license. Time to go to the DMV and put it on the road!
