Default ignition wire routing

Would anyone happen to have any pictures of their ignition wiring routing? I moved mine in fear of them getting pinched and now can't seem to find a place to tie them up away from the heads etc.

Thanks!

Mine has a simple run - from behind the timing cover, down thru the hole at the bottom, along the frame rail to the front, up the down tube to the coil. I have two zip ties on the bottom rail, and two more on the down tube. I believe this is the normal way to run them.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure that's how I have mine run. I'll take a look tomorrow. I was a bit unclear in my question, though. Sorry. What I meant was, the three wires going to my ignition switch. I ran 12 gauge, which I see is a bit heavy and hard to maneuver. I was concerned with the amount of amperage they would be carrying. I have them coming out of the harness on the right side of the top frame tube at the motor mount. Then they drop under the motor mount behind the manifold and go between the jugs. That's where it gets tricky. They snake around the front of the horn bracket and then to the switch. In the area that they go around the front of the horn bracket, they're only about 3/8" away from the front head. Will that melt them?

Thanks!

That sounds like where mine are run. They drop down from the main wire harness right between the cylinders and find their way to the ignition key switch. Mine are heavier gauge than 16, but i do not know what - 14 or 12?

I think there is no chance of them melting unless there is actual contact with hot metal. There is lots of air blowing thru there.
